cocada: coconut milk shake with a touch of cinnamon

tequeños: deep fried white cheese sticks wrapped in wheat flour dough

la de pernil: roasted pork shoulder with tomato slices and a spicy mango sauce

reina pepiada: chunky chicken and avocado mix salad

de pabellón: shredded beef, black beans, white salty cheese and sweet plantains

the above classic (de pabellón) was obvs the best.

post-lunch walking dehydration fix at argo tea.

red velvet iced: red tea, raspberry, white chocolate

i kept waiting for the thunderstorm to happen yesterday and of course, it never did. thanks for making me lug my umbrella around weatherman.

gym pet peeves

possibly one of the most annoying occurences at the gym. some random guy trying to chat you up. while you are running on the treadmill.

and what i really want to do is turn to say the following: "you're an idiot. idiot."

in the past few days, i've had 2 filet mignon meals. one at freeman's. the other at le cirque. shall we compare?

round 1: apps.

freeman's banana, rum caramel, ice cream

results?

le cirque wins on presentation.

but more importantly, freeman's wins all rounds for taste.

is it reasonable that i'm currently contemplating a weekend trip to paris. and that i just picked paris because i want to go eat macarons? cassis macarons...(and cassis ice cream!)
